Italian Scampi

Ingredients:
-1/4 cup butter
-3 tablespoons minced fresh fennel
-3 large cloves garlic, minced
-1 lb peeled and deveined shrimp
-1/4 cup white wine
-2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
-hot cooked pasta (any kind you like)
1. Melt butter in a medium skillet
2. Add fennel and garlic; cook over low heat for 8 minutes, stirring frequently
3. Increase heat to medium and add shrimp to skillet
4. Cook, stirring constantly, for 5 more minutes
5. Stir in wine and lemon juice and cook for 2 minutes more or until shrimp is pink
6. Serve over pasta
